I recently visited Mr. Dog restaurant and tried their Burger called "Mr. Playa Del Carmen" and a hot dog. For junk food, the quality was decent. The burger was cooked to perfection and had the right balance of toppings. The hot dog was also well-made and had a good flavor. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Overall, if you're in the mood for some tasty junk food, Mr. Dog is definitely worth checking out.
Finally after a long day of being frustrated and being ripped off by other restaurants and having terrible food I have found my savior. It is in the form of a hot dog and an air-conditioned restaurant.
I’ve eaten at Mr. Dog many times and the food is always good. The menu has a lot of options and the prices are great, especially considering that they’re right off 5th Ave. the burgers are tasty but my fave is the burrito de carne, basically a steak burrito that you can get with everything including tomatoes and mushrooms. The fries and drink combo (soda or beer) is a good deal. Also comes with a side of guacamole and dipping sauces. Oh yeah, I will be back.
It’s a hot dog joint, you’re not gonna be served champagne as some other reviews seem to have expected. You’re in Mexico, lighten up. This place made my wife and I come to tears with how amazingly tasty the food is. If you find yourself in PDC, you really didn’t visit PDC until you eat here. Might come back for dinner again. Miguel the waiter was super friendly and helpfull on reccomendations. Had the Mexican beef dog with onion rings and it was really good. Surprisingly filling. Would recommend if you're looking for a good dog.
We went to this restaurant because it had good ratings and people did lie. It was wonderful! The food was flavorful and was a good value.
We had the playa del Carmen and the del carribe dogs. It was pretty good. Two beer and fries combos for under 10 USD.
This place is very underrated and needs to be more busy because the food here is great the prices are great and a good value for whatever you order on the menu. The Mr. dog sauce is my favorite! I couldn’t recognize the place under the hotel so maybe a hostess out front would help get my people inside because this place needs to be packed.
